Music Box

With so many magical effects designed to deceive the eyes and mind, I thought it would be cool to craft a routine that brings the magic of music to life.

The effect begins with a charming narrative.

You introduce a small music box and share a heartfelt story about putting your child to bed.

Alongside it, you display seven cards, each bearing the phrase "Music Makes Our Minds Dance" on the front.

You explain that these cards represent nursery rhymes, that your child adores.

You add that, when he hears the music box, his favourite saying is, “Music Makes Our Minds Dance.”

You then invite a spectator to take part in a whimsical journey.

The music box is placed on one of the cards, and they spell out the phrase "Music Makes Our Minds Dance" one letter at a time.

They can move forward or backward across the cards but cannot skip any.

As the process continues, cards are magically removed from either side, leaving only one card.

When the final card is revealed, it matches the music box’s melody - Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.

For the final surprise, you turn over all the other cards, and they are completely blank.

This magical combination of music, storytelling, and mystery creates a truly memorable experience!
